DECKING LIGHTS
FLUSH FITTING – LOW PROFILE
COOL WHITE
We have been selling decking for 10 years and we thought it
was about time we started offering the only true DECK LIGHTS on ebay to give
other customers the opportunity to buy our lights.
Whilst there are many listings for deck lights most are not
sold by DECK PEOPLE. They do not know
the dramas and issues you have when laying deck and what is needed in a deck
light to make it easy to install and effective for its purpose.
Firstly it’s all about the depth of the light. I PROMISE you there will be areas in your
deck where there will be a joist or timber chock or some sort of obstruction
under your deck boards so do not make the mistake in getting bad fitting deep
lights made by people who never put together decks.
Honorwood decking we sell the deck materials and the lights
as well.
So why are ours the most widely used and recommended by deck
builders. It is simple:
OUR LIGHTS HAVE A DEPTH OF ONLY 18.5MM
This means it will fit into every composite board without
sticking out the bottom and will be the same in most timber decks.
So do not play games with inferior products.
Deck lights allow you to build a functional striking deck ambience with perimeter lighting and stair lighting.
Whilst deck lights are not there to give you lights to play games and read books they are there to create a lighting that is soft and highlights all the features your deck has.
If you are laying or building a $2,000 deck or a $50,000
deck you would be crazy not to add lighting and even crazier if you install
anything that will be a headache

Most people use cool white for decks and blue
lights for pool edge decks
My Tips
-
When you build your deck frame get your power
sorted under deck then.
-
Draw out where your lights will be. A double power point will hold 2 transformers
so doing around 24 lights.
-
Don’t worry this is 12v low voltage so your
10amp power can you hold hundreds of lights you just need to get them plugged
in.
-
For large decks we suggest you bring your power
to the deck then just piggyback outdoor power points on your joist or bears
using the same 3 core 2.5mm wire.
-
If you need some extension lighting cables that
screw in then just see us
-
Lights look great following fencing
- Pool edges or steps you should light up-
-
We install lights around every 40cm when we
build
